Established 18 April 1996, the Honor Guard represents the department at a variety of ceremonies. The Honor guard participates in parades and funerals for current and retired firefighters, both within the department and honoring firefighters of other departments, and other public service personnel. The Honor guard also participates at Fire Academy graduations and other ceremonies, such as building dedications and flag ceremonies. The Honor Guard wear a special uniform.

Comprised of approximately eighteen members, the Honor Guard are volunteers who meet and drill on their own time.
